Qualification (योग्यता)
Flying Branch:
10+2 with 50% in Physics and Mathematics.
Graduation (3-year degree) with 60% marks OR BE/BTech (4-year) with 60% marks.
Ground Duty (Technical):
10+2 with 50% in Physics and Mathematics.
Four-year degree in Engineering/Technology with 60% marks.
Ground Duty (Non-Technical):
Admin & Logistics: Graduation with 60%.
Accounts: B.Com/BBA (Finance)/CA/CFA/CS with 60%.
Education: PG with 50% and Graduation with 60%.
Meteorology: B.Sc with Physics & Maths OR Engineering degree with 60%.
NCC Special Entry:
Flying Branch: NCC Air Wing ‘C’ Certificate.
Age Limit (आयु सीमा)
Age Limit (as on 01 July 2026):
Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years (born between 02 July 2002 to 01 July 2006). Upper age limit is 26 years for CPL holders.
Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical): 20 to 26 years (born between 02 July 2000 to 01 July 2006).

- Fill in personal, academic, and communication details.
- Upload scanned photograph, signature, and thumb impression (10–50KB each).
- Pay the application fee (₹550 + GST) online.
- Submit and take a printout of the application.
Note: No fee for NCC Special Entry candidates.

📚 Selection Process for AFCAT 02/2025
The selection process includes the following stages:
1. AFCAT Online Exam
Duration: 2 hours
Total Questions: 100
Total Marks: 300
Negative Marking: 1 mark for each wrong answer

2. AFSB Interview
Stage I: Officer Intelligence Rating Test + Picture Perception & Discussion Test (PPDT)

CPSS Test (For Flying Branch only)
Only those who clear Stage I move to Stage II.
3. Medical Examination
Conducted at designated IAF Medical Centres.
Medical standards differ for Flying and Ground Duty branches.
4. Final Merit List
Based on combined marks of AFCAT & AFSB.
Subject to medical fitness and availability of vacancies.
