Qualification (योग्यता)

📚 Educational Qualification (शैक्षिक योग्यता):

• Minimum Qualification: 10+2 Pass
• Required Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB)
• Board: Recognized by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India
• Minimum Marks:
  • 50% Marks in Aggregate (कुल मिलाकर)
  • Minimum 40% in Each Subject (प्रत्येक विषय में)
• ⚠️ Important for 2024-25 Board Students:
  • Candidates appearing in Class 12th Board Exam of academic year 2024-25 are also eligible to apply
  • Must fulfill all other eligibility criteria

  • Candidates born between 01 September 2004 to 31 December 2008 are eligible to apply for INET 2025
  • Candidates shall be eligible for Stage II recruitment process of the respective batch as per age criteria mentioned above

📝 Application Process (आवेदन प्रक्रिया):

1. Visit Official Website: Go to https://joinindiannavy.gov.in
2. Application Period: 29 March 2025 (00:01 hrs) to 10 April 2025 (17:00 hrs)
3. Registration: Register yourself with valid Email ID and Mobile Number
4. Fill Application Form: Fill all details carefully – Personal, Educational, Domicile information
5. Upload Documents:
   • Recent Passport Size Color Photograph (10 KB to 50 KB) – taken not before March 2025 with name and date written on black slate with white chalk
   • Live photograph will be captured through webcam during form filling
   • Class 10th & 12th Marksheets
   • Domicile Certificate
   • NCC ‘C’ Certificate (if applicable)
6. Pay Examination Fee: Rs. 550/- + 18% GST through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI
7. Select Exam Centre: Give three city preferences for INET examination
8. Submit Application: Review all details and submit the form
9. Download Admit Card: Download admit card approximately one week before INET exam from website

• Candidates can also apply from Common Service Centers (CSC) – Fee Rs. 60 + GST (Optional)
• Correction Window: 14-16 April 2025 (3 days for corrections only)

💰 Pay & Allowances (वेतन और भत्ते):

• During Training: Rs. 14,600/- per month (Stipend)
• After Training: Level 3 of Defence Pay Matrix (Rs. 21,700 – Rs. 69,100) + MSP Rs. 5,200/- + DA (as applicable)
• Promotion Prospects: Up to Master Chief Petty Officer-I (Level 8: Rs. 47,600 – Rs. 1,51,100)
• Insurance Cover: Rs. 75 Lakhs (on contribution)

📋 Selection Process (चयन प्रक्रिया):

1. Stage I – INET (Indian Navy Entrance Test):
   • 100 Questions (1 mark each)
   • Sections: English, Science, Biology, General Awareness
   • Duration: 1 Hour
   • Bilingual (Hindi & English)
   • Negative Marking: 0.25 for wrong answer
   • Computer-based exam
2. Stage II (For Shortlisted Candidates):
   • Physical Fitness Test (PFT):
     • 1.6 Km Run: 06 min 30 sec
     • Squats (Uthak Baithak): 20
     • Push-ups: 15
     • Bent Knee Sit-ups: 15
   • Written Examination: 100 Questions (English, Science, Biology, General Awareness)
   • Recruitment Medical Examination
3. Merit List: State-wise based on Stage II Written Exam marks
4. Pre-Enrolment Medical: At INS Chilka

🏥 Medical Standards (चिकित्सा मानक):

• Height: Minimum 157 cms
• Vision:
  • Uncorrected: 6/12, 6/12

  • Colour Perception: CP Pass
• Tattoos: Only permitted on inner face of forearms and back of hand

• Training Location: INS Chilka, Odisha
• SSR (MED) 02/2025: Training commences September 2025
• SSR (MED) 02/2026: Training commences July 2026
• Initial Engagement: 20 Years (after successful completion of training)
